small room dysfunctional air conditioning

The room size proved a significant issue. It was quite compact and I found it difficult to maneuver, especially in the bathroom. I also must note the air conditioning system, it did not function as expected. Staff indicated the hotel had disabled it due to some guests feeling cold. Such a decision should not inconvenience other guests.

helpful staff clean rooms quiet area attentive service

The staff assisted me with metro navigation! they were always attentive and happy to help. the rooms and the entire place were very clean. i had a nice quiet rest since it is in a central, very quiet area. This was particularly important since my stay was for work.

non-functional air conditioning inadequate amenities

The air conditioning didn't work, quite bothersome! a staff member mentioned they had turned off the a/c for the whole building because some guests felt cold. i found this absurd since it was between 20-24°c. i was often very warm, but they didn't do anything about it. a functioning a/c unit was listed as one of the amenities, so i expected it to be available.

best sleep ever

dark room working air-con comfortable bed

i had the best night's sleep in ages. the room was dark, the air-con worked very well, and the bed was comfortable. the room had nice decorations and i find complimentary toiletries plus water. it is a ten-minute walk to the nearest metro, and the road is nice and quiet at night.

the air conditioning was not working, someone said that they had turned the air conditioning off for the hotel. i found this absurd because the temperature was still quite warm. i had wanted air conditioning because it stood as one of the facilities.

Solid choice, few minor hiccups

nice room independent ac city map lift access

i got the glasgow room. it was nice. the independent ac for each room was a real plus. staff gave me a city map highlighting tourist spots. the lift access to all floors was convenient, i found that especially helpful with my luggage.

the room was not very big. it felt a bit tight, especially with luggage.
